Iona Admissions: Come Excel with Us!

Acceptance to Iona Grammar School is based on a placement test as well as previous school grades, achievement tests, and recommendations.  Readiness and suitability are also factors in appropriate school placement.

An interview and readiness/achievement testing by the admissions director are part of the criteria for admission to Iona Grammar School in grades Kindergarten through grade eight.  Before the interview and testing date are scheduled, the following records and data must be received:

• Completed application form

• Application / Entrance Exam fee: $200

• One time-per family registration fee: $500

• Copies of report cards from previous grades (if applicable)

• Copies of all standardized test scores taken in two previous grades (if applicable) 

• Two recommendation forms completed by his teacher, the school principal, or by some other qualified person who knows the student especially well.

All applications will be processed promptly as appropriate materials are received.  Applicants will be notified of his acceptance status within one to three weeks after completion of the admissions testing and interview.
