It is my sincere pleasure to present the Iona Grammar School Website. Iona Grammar School is a place that “makes a unique effort to nourish and expand each young man’s sense of mission and social justice while continuing a rich tradition of excellence through education.”  The events and activities on these pages are learning and growth experiences and it is the responsibility of every student, parent, faculty member and administrator to recognize them as opportunities for continued development.

The opening of each school year, particularly at Iona Grammar, brings revitalization to our mission and the mission our founder, Blessed Edmund Ignatius Rice.  We are entrusted with not only continuing the rich tradition of those who have gone before us, but also forging new and innovative directions.  I continue to be humbled, inspired and re-dedicated to leading Iona Grammar. First and foremost, however, Iona Grammar is a partnership with all constituencies striving for one common goal - making Iona Grammar School the best.

Christian centered, student focused and mission oriented are hallmarks of an Iona Grammar education. The Iona Men, who enter the school everyday, walk in a community of support and respect - from their teachers and from their peers. They are the leaders of tomorrow - we will treat them as such and together we will make the world a better place.
